1.Structure of Container ship

STRUCTURE OF CARGO HOLD

- Constructed for maximum loading rectangle CNTR
- Cell guides and Fixed cones are installed
- Available entering inside through the hold access way

 

 

STRUCTURE OF HATCH COVER & COAMING

- Structures preventing hold from sea water
- Strong structures due to CNTR loading on the H/C

 

 

CLEAT OF HATCH COVER

- To secure hatch cover with hatch coaming and ship
- Fore 2 & Aft 2 Side 2 (Sea side H/C)

 

 

PEDESTAL FOR CONTAINER

- Structures for loading CNTR on the passage way
- Strong structures due to CNTR loading on the H/C

 

2.Lashing Equipment

1) Fixed gear

TWIST LOCK FOUNDATION

- Fixed on H/C
- For on DK CNTR
- CNTR securing with twist-locks
- Single Type & Double Type
- All edge to be smoothed

 

 

EYE PLATE FOR LASHING

- H/C joining on T/B
- Single and double
- All edge to be smoothed

 

 

FIXED CONE IN CARGO HOLD BOTTOM

- For in hold CNTR
- Stacking cone weight
- All edge to be smoothed

 

 

STRUCTURE OF HATCH COVER TOP SIDE

 

FIXED LIFTING SOCKET FOR HATCH COVER

 

CELL GUIDE IN CARGO HOLD WALL SIDE

- Guide CNTR loading & discharging

- To prevent CNTR moving in hold after loading
- Fore & Aft, Stb’d & port

 

2) Loose gear

LOOSE GEAR - TWIST LOCK (SEMI AUTO, DUAL FUNCTION TYPE)

 

LOOSE GEAR - LASHING ROD(BAR)

- Join on corner fittings of CNTR & Turnbuckle
- Long Bar 4.5m / Short Bar 2.4m
- Need to be secured to prevent unused gears on Deck

falling down to the sea in heavy weather & high GM

 

 

LOOSE GEAR - TURNBUCKLE

- Joining on eye plate & lashing bar
- Periodical greasing
- Need to be secured to prevent unused gears on DK

falling down to the sea in heavy weather & high GM

 

 

LOOSE GEAR - STACKING CONE

- For fitting 20’ CNTR in hold
- 40’ CNTR no need due to cell guide
- 4 cones should be installed

in each 4 corners of CNTR

 

3) Lashing tool

ACTUATOR POLE

- Using for locking & unlocking semi-auto twist locks

above the 2nd tier
- Made of aluminum

 

 

WRENCH FOR TURNBUCKLE

- Tightening T/B
- Locking & unlocking base twist locks
