IALA BUOYANCE SYSTEM SUMMARY!!!

1. IALA (INTERNATIONAL ASSOIATION OF LIGHTHOUSE AUTHORITY)

THERE ARE TWO SYSTEMS IN THE WORLD : A-REGION AND B-REGION .

B-REGION INCLUDES THE AMERICA , JAPAN , KOREA , PHILIPPINE.

AND ANOTHER CONTRIES BELONG TO A-REGION, IT LIKE THE FOLLOW PICTURE SHOW:

IALSA SYSTEM : A REGION / B REGION

2. THE PURPOSE OF IALA IS FOR OUR SAFETY NAVIGATION,

IT CAN INDICATE :

1) INDICATE THE CENTRAL LINE OR LIMIT LINE OF SAFTY NAVIGATION AREA IN THECHANNEL OR A TRAFFIC SEPARATION SCHEMES

2) THE SAFETY NAVIGATION AREA UNDER THE BRIDGE

3) ISOLATED DANGER GOODS OR OTHER OBSTRUCTION , FOR EXAMPLE: WRECK

4) SOME SPECIAL FUNCTION

5) SOME MARKS THAT INSTRUCT THE SAFETY AREA

6) SOME MARKS THAT INSTRUCT THE BOUNDARY OF SOME AREA

 

3. THE KIND OF LIGHT MARKS

1) THE LATERAL MARKS:

 THERE ARE TWO KIND OF THE LATERAL MARKS ,  IT USES TO INSTRUCT THE SIDE OF THE CHANNEL . IT IS DIFFERENT BETWEEN A-REGION AND B-REGION.

 

(1) A-REGION : THE LIGHT COLOUR : PORT SIDE IS RED AND STARBOARD SIDE IS GREEN ;

AND THE SHAPE : THE PORTSIDE IS CYLINDRICAL, THE STARBOARD IS CONICAL ; IT IS LIKE THE FOLLOW PICTRUE :

A REGION : RED-PORTSIDE, GREEN-STBDSIDE
B REGION : CHINA, SHANGHAI, CHANGJIANG KOU
B REGION : CHINA, SHANGHAI, CHANGJIANG KOU // RED-PORTSIDE, GREEN-STBDSIDE

 

(2) B-REGION : THE LIGHT COLOUR : PORTSIDE   IS GREEN COLOUR, AND THE STARBOARD SIDE IS RED COLOUR; AND THE SHAPE : THE PORTSIDE IS CYLINDRICAL THE STARBOARD IS CONICAL; IT IS LIKE THE FOLLOW PICTURE:

A REGION : KOREA, PUSAN, RED-STBD SIDE, GREEN-PORT SIDE

 

 

2) CARDINAL MARKS :

THE CARDINAL MARKS CAN INSTRUCT WHICH DIRECTION IS SAFETY NAVIGATION AREA , FOR EXAMPLE :

1.   IT CAN SHOW THE MOST DEEP AREA

2.   IT CAN SHOW THE SAFETY SIDE WHEN WE PASS THE DANGEROUS OBSTRUCTION

3.   IT CAN LET US PAY ATTENTION OF THE NAVIGATION CHANNEL CHARACTER , LIKE : THE BEND OF THE RIVER ; OR THE END SIDES OF THE SHALLOW AREA

WE CAN SEE THE PARTICULAR FROM THE THE FOLLOW PICTURE :

 

  

3) ISOLATED DANGER MARKS ;

THE ISOLATED DANGER MARKS CAN INSTRUCTE A DANGEROUS OBSTRUCTION WHICH AREA LIMITED AND THERE IS SAFETY NAVIGATE AREA AROUND IT . WE CAN SEE THE PARTICULAR FROM THE THE FOLLOW PICTURE :

 

4) SAFE WATER MARKS

THE SAFE WATER MARKS INSTRUCT THAT THERE IS THE SAFETY NAVIGATE AREA AROUND IT AND IT IS FITTED AT THE CENTRAL OF THE SAFETY NAVIGATION AREA , IT CAN BE USED TO THE CENTRAL LINE MARK AND THE ENTERANCE MARK OF THE NAVIGATION CHANNEL . WE CAN SEE THE PARTICULAR FROM THE THE FOLLOW PICTURE :

 

5) SPECIAL MARKS

THE SPECIAL MARKS INSTRUCT THAT THERE IS A SPECIAL AREA , AND THE SPECIAL AREA

WE CAN CHECK ON THE CHART OR NAVIGATION PUBLICATION.

THE SPECIAL AREA MAY BE THE MARK OF ODAS , DREDGING AREA ,GUNNERY AREA, OR THE CABLE AND TUBE.
